EPT Satellites
As mentioned above there are many different EPT satellites running at Pokerstars throughout the year. One of the most popular ways to qualify for any live event on Pokerstars is via their steps satellites. These run pretty much the same as a regular sit and go would but instead of paying out cash they payout entry to the next step or if you are in the final step they payout a live event package. Usually step 1 will start with a $7.50 buyin and step 6 will have the live event package on offer. You can buy into most steps using cash as well as FPP's.
EPT MTT Satellites are slightly different and run at more sporadic times throughout the year. Often there will be 3 stages of EPT MTT satellites with the first stage having the lowest buyin. You can always buyin to the final MTT satellite stage but this will set you back around $700 if the package on offer is worth $10,000.
